House Hunting Trip

This week, Bryan and I went to Colorado Springs to find a place to live and finalize our wedding plans. Menus are planned (hope ya'll like chicken, beef or bass- all done in a fru-fru, fancy way), cake is designed (two tier square cake, strawberries and cream on the bottom and chocolate raspberry on the top, our initials on the side, and fresh flowers on the top), flower arrangements picked out. And we just signed the lease to our first (rented) house!

This is the rental website photo and it's hard to see the color of the house (yellow). The house costs $225 LESS per month to rent than our current 1 bedroom apartment in Pasadena and has two EXTRA bedrooms! There's also a little washer and dryer (a luxury!), a gas range, a cute backyard with a separate dog run, and a 1 car garage in the back. It's a block away from a park and about a mile from grocery stores/restuarants/etc. It's 30 minutes from my job but that's because Shriever AFB is out in the boonies. Every room is painted a very different color (dark red living room, bright yellow kitchen, blue bedroom, taupe hallways, etc) and it's cute as a button. Yay! I'll have the new address printed on the wedding programs!
